Kerry Simpson
Kerry Simpson has been an associate attorney for Pickard & Associates for four years. Ms. Simpson practices primarily in the areas of family law, criminal law, and dependency and neglect. Prior to this, Ms. Simpson was a Deputy County Attorney for the Maricopa County Attorneys Office where she prosecuted felonies for four years.
Ms. Simpson is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association and the First Judicial District Bar Association, where she chairs the membership committee. Ms. Simpson is also a member of the Metro Volunteer Lawyers Association, and acts as court-appointed respondent parent counsel in Dependency and Neglect cases in Denver Juvenile Court. Ms. Simpson volunteers for the Family Tree Women in Crisis law clinic.
Ms. Simpson received her law degree from the University of Arizona. Ms. Simpson is married and has a step-daughter, Krystin, (23 years old) who recently married. She and her husband have a 7 year-old son, Isaac. Ms. Simpson enjoys volunteering at her church and her son's school.
